This guide is for the three neighborhoods where we spend the most time on the Hull Street Road side: what a visit looks like on a lake-community street, how shared lots and townhome rows work, what two-car households should book, what the pollen and sap season does to a car parked under trees out here, and what every package costs.

Where we work: Brandermill, Woodlake, and Hallsley

All three sit between Hull Street Road and Route 288, and we treat them as home turf. Brandermill and Woodlake wrap around Swift Creek Reservoir, with a lot of cars parked outside under hardwoods and pines. Hallsley is newer, with wider driveways and more garages. Driveways, HOAs, and shared lots

Most of the work out here happens in a private driveway, and that is the easiest setup: park the car where we can walk all the way around it, point us at an outdoor outlet and a spigot, and go about your day. The exterior packages use dry-wash products, so there is no soap running down the street into a storm drain, and the only water we use is a small amount on the tires. That matters in a lake community, and it keeps the job quiet enough for a weekday morning.

Townhome rows and shared lots work too, with one extra step: tell us in the booking notes where the car will be and where the nearest outlet and spigot are. If the lot has neither, say so when you book and we will tell you what we can and cannot do there before anyone drives out. Office lots along Hull Street Road and in Westchester Commons are the same deal.

Two cars, one visit

Plenty of households out here run two vehicles, and the best value we offer is doing both on the same day. Add the second vehicle at checkout and it is 20% off when both are done at the same address on the same visit. A pickup or an SUV pays the same package price as a sedan; the big ones take longer, the price does not change.

Pollen, sap, and the reservoir

Three things come up on almost every job in these neighborhoods, and they point to different packages.

• Spring pollen. From March into May the cars parked outside turn yellow. Pollen that sits on paint through a few rains etches the clear coat, and pollen tracked inside settles into the carpet and vents. An exterior detail in April and an interior detail in June is the pattern that works.

• Tree sap and bird droppings. Driveways under oaks and pines collect both, and both eat paint if they sit through a hot week. The exterior wax add-on ($125) or the clay bar exterior ($145) after an exterior detail gets the bonded grit off and puts a layer between the paint and the next round.

• Lake and trail days. Sand from the reservoir beaches, mud from the Brandermill trails, and wet dogs from either one end up in the back seat. The pet hair removal ($75) and stain removal ($95) add-ons exist for exactly this.

• Interior Detail, $195. About 90 minutes. A full vacuum, a dust and wipe down of every interior surface, and the interior glass. Book the Interior Detail.

• Exterior Detail, $195. About 90 minutes. The outside of the car, done with dry-wash products in your driveway. Book the Exterior Detail.

• Comprehensive Wash and Detail, $245. About 3 hours. Inside and out in one visit. Book the Comprehensive.

• Premium Wash and Detail, $325. About 4 hours. The same car with more time on every surface. Book the Premium.

• River City Deluxe, $395. About 6 hours. Our top package, for a car that has gone a long time without one or is about to be sold. Book the River City Deluxe.

How the visit works

Book a time online, seven days a week from 8am to 7pm. We pull up to your driveway or your spot in the lot and work from the van with our own equipment and products. We need an outdoor outlet and a spigot within reach. If you cannot stay for the whole job, say so in the booking notes and we will arrange access to the car before we start. If the weather turns, we reschedule with you for another day.

Do you come to Brandermill, Woodlake, and Hallsley?

Yes. All three are inside our Midlothian and Chesterfield service area, along with Richmond, Henrico, Glen Allen, Short Pump, Mechanicsville, Chester, Moseley, and Powhatan. We work in driveways and office lots seven days a week from 8am to 7pm.

Is there runoff from the exterior detail?

Almost none. The exterior packages use dry-wash products, and the only water we use is a small amount on the tires. Nothing runs down the driveway into the street or the reservoir.

Can you work in a townhome lot or a shared driveway?

Yes, as long as there is an outdoor outlet and a spigot within reach of the car. Put the parking details in the booking notes and we will confirm before we come out.
