Interior car detailing in Richmond, VA: what's included and what it costs

What a $195 interior detail includes
The Interior Detail is our base interior service and the one most people book. In about 90 minutes we:
Vacuum the cabin, including the carpet, floor mats and seats.
Dust and wipe down every interior surface: dashboard, console, cup holders, door panels and vents.
Clean the interior glass, including the inside of the windshield, so there is no haze when the sun hits it.
It does not include seat shampooing, odor treatment or leather conditioning. Those come with the higher packages below. Pet hair removal and stain removal can be added to any package.
When to step up to Premium or the River City Deluxe
The right package depends on what is wrong with the car. Here is how the most common interior problems line up:
Everyday dust, crumbs and fingerprints. The $195 Interior Detail handles it.
Pet hair. Add pet hair removal for $75 to any package. Hair woven into carpet takes dedicated tools and time, which is why it is priced on its own. Our pet hair and smoke smell guide goes deeper.
Coffee, food or makeup stains. Add stain removal for $95. If a spill just happened, our interior stains guide explains what to do before we get there.
Smoke, mildew or a smell you cannot place. Book the $325 Premium Wash and Detail. It includes advanced odor removal with an enzyme treatment, floor mat degreasing and plastic trim restoration, along with an exterior wash.
Stained fabric seats or dry leather. Book the $395 River City Deluxe. It shampoos fabric seats and conditions leather on top of a complete interior, a hand wash and wax, and an engine bay and tire clean.
Child car seats. Add a car seat detail for $95. We deep clean and sanitize the seat itself, not just the area around it.
If the inside and the outside both need work, the $245 Comprehensive Wash and Detail does an exterior wash, a full interior clean and the windows in and out in about 3 hours. That costs less than booking the interior and exterior details separately. How a mobile interior detail works
We come to you seven days a week from 8am to 7pm. You pick the package and the time online, and we show up with the vacuums, products and equipment.
We need three things from you: a parking spot we can work in, an outdoor electrical outlet, and a water spigot within reach of the car. At an apartment or office, check with management first and tell us in the booking notes.
Before we arrive, take out anything you want to keep safe, like sunglasses, chargers and paperwork. A clear cabin lets us spend the appointment on cleaning instead of working around belongings.
You do not need to stay for the whole appointment. If you will be at work or out, say so in the booking notes and we will arrange access to the car before we start. Have two cars? Add the second one at checkout for 20% off, as long as both are done the same day at the same address.
How often to detail the interior in Central Virginia
Most commuter cars do well with an interior detail every few months. A few local patterns decide the timing:
Spring pollen. From March into May, pine and oak pollen gets tracked in and settles into the vents and carpet. A detail at the end of pollen season clears it out.
Winter. Wet shoes bring road salt and mud onto the mats, and grime builds up in the carpet all season.
Summer. Heat sets spills and smells faster, so deal with them early instead of waiting for the next scheduled detail.

How much does an interior car detail cost in Richmond, VA?
With SprayRVA, an interior detail is $195 per vehicle, travel included. Odor removal comes with the $325 Premium, and seat shampooing and leather conditioning come with the $395 River City Deluxe. Pet hair removal ($75), stain removal ($95) and car seat detailing ($95) are add-ons.
How long does an interior detail take?
About 90 minutes for the Interior Detail. The Premium runs about 4 hours and the River City Deluxe about 6, because both include exterior work too. Large SUVs, minivans and trucks can run longer.
Do you shampoo the seats?
Seat shampooing is part of the River City Deluxe. For a single spot or spill, the $95 stain removal add-on is usually enough.
Can you get rid of a smoke smell?
Yes. The Premium Wash and Detail includes advanced odor removal with an enzyme treatment. Heavy, long-term smoke can take more than one treatment because it settles into foam and the headliner.
Do I have to be home?
No. Tell us in the booking notes how we get into the car, and make sure we can reach an outdoor outlet and a water spigot.
Can I send a photo first?
Yes. Email the owner at marshall@sprayrva.com with a photo of the seats or the stain and we will tell you which package fits before you book.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule for free more than 24 hours ahead. Inside 24 hours there is an $80 fee.
